These thin, mini, delicate hoop earrings are handmade from 14K solid gold filled 20 and 18-gauge wire. Both 20 and 18-gauge wires are thin. The 20-gauge wire is thinner, and the 18-gauge wire is thicker.
These wires are standard size for ear and nose piercings. The thin wire makes the earrings comfortable to sleep in and to wear for a long period of time. You can keep them in your ear without having to remove them.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED WIRE:
Gold-filled wire has a thick layer of solid 14K gold on top with a brass core. It is tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic and lasts a long time just like gold. The gold layer is much thicker than plated wire so it will not fade or wear through quickly.
To open the earrings, hold on both sides with the cut in the middle, then twist one hand away from you and the other towards you. Do not pull. Twist back to close the hoops.
